I haven't been blogging for quite a long time... after this morning, i decided to blog about what happen this morning...

This morning, while i am still sleeping and someone pressed on my door bell and i decide to ignore it until someone called my mobile  to ask me to open the door... so i quickly ran to the door and was surprised to see this guy from Noel and he said "Ms Hazel, there is a gift for you!" I am shocked but i quickly signed off and took over the gift ... looking at the card, i am surprised that this lovely gift is from my dearest hubby.

I really want to thank my hubby for the surprise and encouragement... will try my best to look at the brighter side ... and i know our baby will growing healthy in my tummy and i will have a smooth pregnancy...

Haven't been updating my blog for very very long ... Hubby has been  
asking and asking when I going to update ... And here it goes ...

After so long I finally step into Thai Express again !!! Hubby has  
longed to dine there again ... So we are finally back ...

A tiring day for me ... It starts with having to work up early in the morning to go to work on a Saturday morning as it's not my short week. After work, I'm already very tired although it's just a 4hrs. Hubby picks me up after our work then we went for lunch and back home to have a very very short nap ... Hubby has to go for his lessons while i am supposed to go for my haircut... But because my bed seems too attractive, i woke up only after 1hr which caused me to be very late for my haircut appt... hai ...

When i reached the salon, it was already about 3+ to 4pm and my appt supposed to be 2.30pm. I highlighted my hair and trimmed the length a bit and it took me about 2+hrs, i almost fainted.

After the tiring day although i just sat there to have my hair done, i am fortunate to have my hubby who just finished his lesson to come down all the way from Bukit Timah to Bugis to fetch me and go for dinner together. We went to iluma to have Manhattan Fish Market. We ordered a Seafood Platter for 2 and with Shrimp bisque for soup. We did not manage to find the whole platter as we find that it's too much of fried stuff for us. Sudden feel sick of the foods there... I think it will take me a long while before i return to the restaurant again...

Today we decided to conquer Hort Park... As per plan, we drive to Vivocity and park the car there and start trekking from Marang trail which is opposite Vivo and next to the bus station. The initial part is quite tedious as from Marang Trail it will lead to Mount Faber, there are many steps to overcome before we reached Mount Faber. From Mount Faber, we proceed to Henderson Waves...

Finally reached Henderson Waves, nice and interesting bridge... and there you can see pple bringing there kids and pets for a walk ... Next time we should consider bringing Truffle along... Think it will be quite fun... hehehehehe...

After Henderson Waves, we proceed to Hilltop walk... We only managed to finish about 1/4 of the trail and something funny happen... My nike track shoes' soles came off... hahahaha.... I think maybe it's because i too long never wear the shoes... With that, we have no choice but to end our trekking there. We cross the road and waited for about 20mins to catch a bus that bring us back to Vivo...

First thing that i do when we reach Vivo is to visit Charles & Keith and got myself a pair of sandals to replace the spoilt shoes... I bought one that looks nice but after a while of wearing find it painful to wear... i think i will not wear the sandals that often... Kind of waste money...

Went to our favorite place in Vivo which is Pets' Lover Centre to see doggies... and proceed to have a early dinner @ Carl's Jr ... After which we went back home and we were so tired that we stick to our bed even before we have our bath. Stinky and sticky us... hehehehehe ....

Today we finally have dinner at Ichiban Sushi... A place that my hubby has been wanting to go... We seldom go because i prefer Sakae Sushi or Sushi Tei more than Ichiban Sushi and my hubby will always go along with my liking... Thanks Hubby !!! Actually i am ok to go to Ichiban Sushi just that i don't really fancy their sushi... so whenever i go there i will only eat their bento set which i think it's worth the money as you can see from the pictures below in one set there are quite a lot variety and it's about $15 - $17 per set... Will consider going back again if my hubby wants to...

This weekend has been a lazy weekend... Nothing much has been done... Saturday stay at home whole day and went to my in-law place to have dinner and sunday also stay at home for the whole day and went to Pastamania @ Arena for dinner ....

Hmmm ... to start out ... i seldom eat Pastamania... a place that seldom counts to my choice of dining...A newly opened branch at Arena so decided to give it a try... Surprisingly not much people on Sunday night... Decoration i think it's quite ok...Variety and price reasonable... It's more like a fast food where you have to queue up to order and your order will be sent to you in about 5-10 mins ... but Calamari too salty, Meatball too big and not nice (Ikea meatballs is the best ... hehehehe... ) and crayfish doesn't have the taste of the sauce... Overall I don't really like their foods though it's economical ...

Guess i will not return to Pastamania so soon... Maybe till a day that i don't remember their bad points....

Wei Tan and me went to the newly opened ION @ Orchard for dinner ... She recommended a restaurant called Watami... when we reached the queue already quite long which is about 6.50pm... but we still queued for it.... the business was so good that the waiter has to put up a signage that says they are closed for preparation at the end of the queue... but typical of Singaporean, nobody paid attention to the signage and they just continued to join the queue...

We waited for 1+hr before we got seated by then it's already 8+pm liao... We are very thirsty and hungry and we ordered 6 to 7 items... Overall i think the foods is normal... not worth the queue, but next time i will still bring my hubby to try which means i have to queue again ...

So nice of Ah Tan... He specially ordered 2 cakes from Awfully Chocolate to be delivered to our office for Mardiana and My birthday... He ordered a banana chocolate cake and a rum and cherry chocolate cake... both of them are very nice but at the same time super fattening ... it's very very chocolaty ...

Oh no!!! Have not been posting for very very long liao ... Now have to test my memory to do back dated posting liao... As usual, i will keep the post short...

To start with 8th August is a very special day for me as it's my birthday and also my wedding anniversary. time really flies, last year this time i had my ROM and now one year just past like a blink of eyes... and with this, i am of course getting older...

I started my day very very late about 1 - 2+pm... My bed was just too attractive and i'm very very tired over the past few weeks... but my hubby woke up very earlier to make a card for me...

 Very nice and i'm very touched... Thanks hubby !!!

We have actually planned to spend a day at Sentosa but because of the lazy me, we can only visit one of the attractions in Sentosa which is the Images of Singapore... Never been to the place before... Quite interesting... Can see the history of Singapore... Have short and fun day at Sentosa... Took quite a lot of photos...

After the Sentosa, my hubby brought me to a restaurant at River Vallery road called Tavern Restaurant... First thing when i step into the restaurant, i love the ambiance.... it has a countryside style interior, cosy and comfortable feeling... Interesting thing about it is they wrote their menu on the movable chalkboard... so when you ask for the menu they will move the board to you and ask you to choose from there... one side is the appetizer and the other side is the  main course ... For appetizer, we order pan fried goose liver, very nicely and tasty cooked and a right portion of it and half dozen of escargots... For main course, we ordered Wagyu beef, very expensive and counted premium beef... The waiter will bring out a whole big piece of the beef (which is about many kg) and ask you which part you want and how big piece you want then they will cut in front of you and weigh to tell you how big it is ... 100g is about $40.00 if i didn't remember wrongly and on average each normal meal portion of beef is about 200 to 300g... The beef was delicious ... yum yum... This meal was a expensive one but i thinks it's worth ... i got chance i will want to go back there again and i will definitely recommend friends to go there ...

1 week before my birthday ....

Today has been a wonderful day for me ... firstly my hubby bought me a new Gucci wallet ... Thank you lao gong !!!!  finally found 1 that i like ... we have been shopping for 2 - 3 weekends liao ... I like this wallet because it's not too big and it's red ... actually thought of getting the white one but seems like a lot of pple also carry white Gucci wallet ... This red is quite unique ... my only worry about this wallet is it's fabric material ... i'm worry that the fabric will be black and dirty soon due to my sweaty palms .... anyway i will try my best to keep my sweaty palms away from the wallet ...

After that, we went to Mellben Seafood in Toa Payoh for dinner with in-laws for my birthday celebration... there, they are famous for Claypot crab bee hoon ... Luckily today i made reservation, otherwise i think we have to wait for quite long .... Overall the dinner was okie ... except that i think my father-in-law don't really like it .... as the 2 types of crab that we order are a bit too creamy for him.....

Oh yah ... i received a necklace from my in-laws... quite nice... Thank you ...
